Reasons I smiled this week, 34th edition!

This has been quite the week my friends. Started out kind of shakey but it got better each day. Sometimes the best things are things you can’t write about! This social distancing has not gotten to me yet though, lol! As I said I’m an ambivert but closer to extrovert. One would think I’d be going crazy but I’m surprisingly doing well.

Tuesday I was walking Onyx at almost 8pm. I looked at the moon and it was enormous. I mean it was so beautiful. I was texting my friends saying go outside and look at the moon. It was breathtaking. Turns out that night, April 7th, was the night of the pink moon. I took pictures but my phone couldn’t capture how beautiful it was in real life. So, I went on Pinterest and got a better picture 💕🌕. For future reference, in May, there’s going to be a Flower moon at the end of the month!

My roommates and I collaborated and made this delicious meal. I have to admit I didn’t cook much, lol! I did make the strawberry daiquiris and I supplied the hawaiian sweet rolls. Which were both tasty by the way. It’s always lovely to share a meal with friends. Im still practicing social distancing but its hard when you have roommates. We still stay inside and usually stay 6 ft apart.

My bestie is a featured author in a wonderfully written anthology! I’m so proud of her. I’m actually going to write a blog about her so stay tuned. When I read her feature, I almost cried. It’s just that good! I couldn’t stop smiling afterwards.

Getting ready for Easter all week made me smile. Although we have to spend it in quarantine I’m still excited. Everyone knows I love holidays, decorating, and celebrating. Plus, anytime good food is involved I’m over the moon 🌕😃, the pink moon! Lol!!

I’ve entered into a writing contest. It’s been very stressful because I’m not familiar with how the format works. However, after doing research and more research I finally know what I’m doing. Well, for the most part I do and I feel more confident. Feeling confident is a very good feeling. Thank you God!
