Reasons I smiled this week, 32nd Edition!

Good morning beautiful humans, happy Saturday! How was your week? I hope it was filled with love, patience, optimism, compassion, and peace. Welcome to my weekly edition of reasons I smiled, 32nd installment. Come on in……….

I’m one of those weird people that’s an introvert and extrovert. Well, atleast I thought I was, lol! Turns out I’m more of an extrovert. However, when I’m out I only want to be with like 2 or 3 people.

We’ve only been in semi quarantine for a week and I’m already having happy hour withdrawals, lol! I miss happy hour so much. Does this mean I have a drinking problem? Or am I just a social butterfly and I like being out and about? Could be both, cheers!!

I’m really okay with staying in for the most part. I’ve had more time to read and work on my other writing projects. Reading always makes me smile.

Speaking of reading, my favorite childhood author, R.L. Stine, his Fearstreet series is being made into movies. When I say I’m excited, that’s an understatement. I read every single one of his books when I was a teen and preteen. He couldn’t put them out fast enough. I babysat just so I could buy all of his books. I think he inspired me to be a writer. I thought he was a genius.

A while ago my windshield was cracked by I don’t know what. Well guess what? I finally got a new one, yay! My car looks pretty damn good to be 14 years old. I’ve had her since 2006, but it’s a 2007. Only had 8 miles on her. This car has been so good to me. Truly some of the best money I’ve ever spent.

We’re on lockdown here in Orlando, well most of us are. So, we can’t go anywhere really. So, when I do go outside it’s been quite lovely. Of course the weather would be perfect when we have to stay in. I mean it’s been absolutely perfect. I’ve been taking the old man on longer walks and he’s been more than fine with it. He sleeps for hours afterwards.

Ahhhhhh, Tom Brady 😍 He went to the Buccaneers. I didn’t think that was even an option. Seeing him play in person is on my bucket list and I do believe that is going to happen. I’m over the moon. I never would’ve thought he would play anywhere else. Not sure what happened but thank you Bill Belichick.

I had take out from a restaurant I’ve never heard of called Pio Pio. It was take out because that’s the only way we can have food here until after the lockdown. The food was actually pretty good. As always the company was even better! Good company always makes the meal better. Such wonderful company!

Don’t worry, that picture wasn’t recent, we’re on lockdown, lol! However, I’ve spent time with my sister this week and that always makes me smile. She’s made a few times this week and its always delicious. She’s such a blast.
