Hello beautiful humans, its Friday! We made it and it’s another day of Awareness! Well, I’m a week late but still, Mental Health Awareness Day is among us!

Last Friday, October 10, was Mental Health Awareness Day. As usual I’m late but better late than never I guess. I didn’t even know until a few days ago. It’s really hard to keep up with these things sometimes. However, when I find out, I like to share with you guys! Mental health is very important. It’s one of those things I don’t think we talk enough about.

I feel like in the world we live in today talking about mental health makes people feel uncomfortable and ashamed. Like there’s this stigma and people equate mental health with being unstable or weak. There’s nothing wrong with talking about mental health or admitting you have mental health issues. I personally think everyone has mental health issues. Am I the only one that thinks that?
I could talk about mental health all day but I won’t. I will say that its important and we should all be talking about it. I just wanted to share that there’s a mental health awareness day and we should take care of ours.

We should also be mindful of others. These are some of the mental health issues and disorders; anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar, behavioural and emotional, paranoia, schizophrenia, OCD, psychosis, PTSD, etc!
