Reasons I Smiled This Week, 9th Edition

Good morning friends, Happy Saturday! How was your week? I hope it was filled with love, laughter, joy, and productivity! Welcome to reasons I smiled this week, 9th edition!

We were in the path of hurricane Dorian but she had other ideas and went another route. Thank God my prayers were answered. I prayed that it would keep turning and just go away from us here in Florida. I was always told to be specific in my prayers. So, when I prayed I prayed it would go away from us in Florida but also just go back into the ocean and just disappear. She didn’t disappear but she didn’t come here and that is a reason I smiled.

I spent time with my awesome little sister Danielle. Onyx and I stayed with her during the storm. Well, there was no storm, lol! However, I packed him up and we stayed with her just in case the storm came. She’s always so much fun. We obviously didn’t go anywhere because a storm was supposed to come. We had fun just hanging out with each other. Plus, Onyx loves her and that makes me smile.

My sister made an amazing dinner for us. She’s an amazing cook. She always cooks with love. She made chicken alfredo with chopped bell peppers and broccoli. It was absolutely delicious. Homemade food is the best food.

My family was here in July but my sister sent me pictures I didn’t have. The pictures are so beautiful. I really do have the best family in the world. We had such a great day at Universal Studios. Can’t wait to see them again. Life is better with family!

I had dinner at a Japanese restaurant. It was my first time there. I will be going back. I absolutely love Japanese food. The name of the restaurant is Mito Sushi and Grill. Can’t believe I’ve never been there. Food was so good!
