Family Ties

A few years back I was part of writing website called Fanstory. I told you guys about it about a week ago. It allowed me to share my writing and receive feedback from fellow writers. It was really nice and I’m not sure why I stopped. I wrote so many stories and poems and today I want to share with you a poem a wrote about growing up. I could only be 6 lines long but I decided to do 6 lines two words each. I don’t know what you call a poem that is only six lines long.

My poem got pretty good feedback and I came in second place in this particular contest. Don’t ask me what the four buses part means, lol! I totally made that part up but it fit good in the poem. I never wrote poem in my life before I started Fanstory. I’m not a poet but occasionally now I will write one or two. They are never long but they always have meaning. Well, accept for that one line.
