And So I Rise!

I am a person that is almost always happy. I can honestly say I am happy 80 to 85% of the time. I’m at a point in my life where everything seems to be going beautifully. I’m healthy. I am doing a job that I use my smarts intelligence and using my degree that I went to school for. I’m madly in love with a man that treats me better than I even imagined in my dreams. My family is healthy and I have two adorable happy fluffy loyal dogs! Life is great.

Even though things are great, we as humans often look back at what we’ve been through in life and it can bring us down. They say nothing good comes from looking back and still I occasionally do it. I’d like to think I am not the only one who does this.

I’ve always thought, no, I’ve always known I was a great catch. Confidence is something I have never lacked. I came from confidence so it’s all I know. I’m well educated, intelligent, witty, smart, and if I may say so I am quite the looker! I know, I’m so humble right. Knowing all these things, I let what one person did to me, make me question my self worth. I allowed one opinion to make me think I wasn’t as great as I thought I was.

I did the same thing when it came to a job interviews.  I had the experience and the education and I nailed my interviews. The callbacks never came. I was devastated and because of that I stayed at a job I didn’t like for 3 years. I didn’t think I could do better.

Guess what? I got out of that funk and remembered who and what I was!!! Since then, my life has gotten so much better. We can’t let temporary setbacks define who we are and we can’t let  one bad experience or relationship make us think our life is worthless.

We are equipped with everything we need to be great!
