What 43 taught me!

Tomorrow i will be 44 years old! This year flew by but that’s what happens when you start to get older. Each year of my life id like to think I learn new things and become wiser. That’s the whole point of life, isn’t it?

First let me say even though I’ve been going through alot the past few months, this year has been way better than the last few years! Thank you God 🙏🏽. Although the year isn’t over but I think he heard my pleas about the last few years and gave me and my family a break 😁. I’m so grateful for that. I definitely couldn’t take another bad year. Although some tragedies happened, we’re all still standing and happy!

What my 43 year taught me was that even when I feel bad and think I can’t keep going, I can! Sometimes when you feel the worst, it motivates you to do your best! Its like there’s something inside you just for those moments.

Even when I’m tired, I have to keep going. Why? Because no one is going to the work for me! If I want things done the best/right way, I need to do it myself.

I’ve learned it’s okay to ask for help. Being independent for so long, I refused to ask for help. 43 taught me the that the people that truly love me are always willing to help. However, the can’t help if they don’t know I need it.

I’m okay with speaking out about things that bother me or other people don’t agree with.  43 taught me when you say things respectfully people appreciate that more. You can have conversations with people that don’t agree with you!

43 taught me that you can be the most qualified, the most educated, incredibly talented, intelligent best person and still not get the job!

Sometimes you have to suffer but the end result is worth it!
