Good morning beautiful humans, happy Friday 😊 We made it, hooray! I hope you had a lovely week, thanks for stopping by my blog. Come on in……..

“Doing things that matter!” Www.lifewithlanenet.com
I basically started reading as soon as I learned how to talk, lol! I’ve always had a love for books. The library and bookstore are my favorite places. I’m not kidding, lol! I love the smell of old and new books. I love sitting down with a good book on a rainy day. It’s like the best thing in the world. I don’t get to read as much as I used to, but still it’s my favorite thing in the world. Well, after food 😋
I’ve always loved to read but it all started to get real the first time I read R. L. Stine.

The author of the amazing Fear Street and Goosebumps books. I would babysit my cousin and buy 3 or 4 of his books every weekend. I’d be finished with all 3 or 4 the following weekend, lol! I’m a very fast reader 😌. I was hooked on those books. I thought they were the best books in the world. To this date, my favorite book, even as an adult is The Betrayal. I think that was the first book I ever read my him. It’s amazing.

It was kind of odd that I switched over to those types of books, I was usually reading books like Where the Red Fern Grows, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Sounder, The Sweet Valley Books, etc. I didn’t think I’d start reading horror/thrillers. I stayed reading those books most of my teenage years.

When I got a little older I was introduced to Nora Roberts. She might be one of the greatest writers ever, in my humble opinion, lol! I’ve read almost all of her books. Not sure which one is my favorites, she’s got some many……

Then I was introduced to Sanda Brown.. I think the first book is read by her was Breathe of Scandal. Probably one of the best novels ever. After that book, I was hooked………

There’s nothing better than a fantastic book! Happy National Book Lovers Day! Let me know your favorite books in the comment section! I’d love to hear your suggestions.
