New Year Resolutions!

My goodness, it’s 2023, hooray! I was I was so ready for this year to get here, lol! Well, it’s finally here now. We usually start the new year with resolutions, which is a good way to start. However, with the way the last few years have been going, it seems silly to make them. Covid ruined all my plans for last year 😒. I think the year before also. I know that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have resolutions but I think this year im going to make different kind of resolutions.

Usually, I would make resolutions like go to church more often, read the Bible more, start working out 3 to 4 days a week, travel somewhere I’ve never been, try to follow up on plans I said I’d do with my friends! All these things are great but life can change at the snap of a finger and these things aren’t able to happen.

So, I found this wonderful pin on Pinterest and it was just what I was looking for! I also saw something on Facebook that read, I’m not making goals for 2023, I’m going to let God lead me. Although that’s a wonderful idea, I’m sure God appreciates it when we have plans, goals, and we work hard to make a life for ourselves. We can’t just sit back and expect things to just happen. We have to actually get up and get out and do something!
