Not a single day goes by that I don’t miss my Onyx 😢. I went to the store the other day and I cried when I had to walk pass the dog food aisle. For almost 16 years anytime I went to the store, I always bought snacks. I felt like he always deserved them. He was such an amazing dog!

So, now when I go to the store I subconsciously go to the dog food aisle and then I sadly remember I don’t have my dog anymore. Its incredibly heartbreaking 💔 😢. I walked through the store in tears. Not heavy tears but tears nonetheless. I thought to myself will this pain ever go away? I’m not sure if I won’t it to because then I’ll feel like I’ve moved on and I don’t want to……

Fifteen plus years is a long time to have a pup but still not nearly long enough. I miss my dog. I pray one day we’ll meet again. I’m not a person that ask for much but that is something I’d really like. I hope Onyx knew how much I loved him, how much I continue to love and miss him everyday. Him and Dusty both.
