Hi there friends! I just wanted to do a quick shoutout to the Emmy’s for recognizing the wonderful black talent on television! There was a total of 9 African/Black Americans that won Emmy’s last Sunday. That’s history and I’m very happy

The beautiful actress Zendaya won outstanding actress in a Drama. Youngest in history. The fantastic and stupid talented Regina King won best actress in limited series/movie. The fabulous and funny Maya Rudolph won best guest actress in a comedy. The incredible and lovely Uzo Aduba won supporting actress in limited series/movie. She should’ve won every year for Orange is the New Black. I’m just sayin!

Ron Cephas, who is great in everything he plays in, did you see him in Luke Cage? He won for best guest actor in a drama. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, won for best supporting actor in a limited series/movie. The indestructible Dave Chappelle won for best writing. Last but not least, the GOAT Eddie Murphy won for best guest actor in a comedy! Oh, and I have to mention that Rupaul’s Dragrace won best Competition Series! It was a great night for African/black Americans in television! I am proud!
