Some years ago, I was at a hotel for work, and everywhere I looked there was water stations with lemon in them. Not sure if they had honey in them but they were everywhere. Finally I asked the front desk agent why did all of the water bins have lemon in them. She said well, that’s really good for you. I took her word for it and tried one cup. I didn’t get it, lol! However, water is already good for you so I wasn’t sure why something else needed to be added but what do I know?
Apparently, adding honey and lemon to water is really really good for you. I’m not really a fan of honey but when I don’t feel well, tea mixed with honey and lemons is delicious! It always makes me feel better so I can see how it’s good for you. I didnt know about these other benefits though. So, I wanted to share this with you guys like I always do. I hope it helps.

Lemon water is a good detox/cleansing drink first thing in the morning – I’d probably find adding honey a bit too sweet. I take a teaspoon of raw Manuka honey (high strength UMF15) a couple of times a week though….apparently ( I read somewhere) adding the honey to hot water reduces it’s nutritious and remedial properties….π
