Since when…….

I won’t keep you guys long today but I wanted to talk about this briefly because it’s on my mind. My friend made a post on Facebook saying how we shouldn’t vote because our votes don’t count. She was like what’s the point? They’re just going to pick whoever they want anyway, etc.

My response to that was, since when do we let things like that stop us from doing (trying) things in life? We do things all the time not knowing if its going to workout or not. Doctor’s aren’t always sure if a treatment or medicine will work but they try or prescribe the medication anyway. Men shoot their shot at a woman out of their league. We buy clothes without trying them on (well, I do) not knowing if they’ll look right. We apply for jobs we’re not qualified for.

We can’t get discouraged and just give up because we’re unsure. Life can’t move forward that way. We can’t ever move ahead in life with that mind frame. As they say, “Shoot your shot!” Since when do we let the unknown stop us!
