Reasons I smiled this week, 44th edition!

Hi there friends, I’m back to my weekly edition of reasons I smiled. I’ve been behind on doing this because so much has been going on. However, I’m back at it this week. I tell you, 2020 is not all what its cracked up to be 🥺🥺 I mean jeez, can we catch a break?

I guess we can say it sucks for everyone (mostly) and it’s not just singled out to one person. But hey, we’re still here and that’s something to smile about, thank God! Just have to remember every day you wake up is a blessing. With that, I’ll say this again, my heart goes out to the family of Naya Rivera. Just heartbreaking news, her poor son.

I got new glasses and guess what? No one can tell me I’m not the bomb, lol! I, for reasons unknown to me, kept putting off getting new ones. I’m happy I finally got them because I absolutely love them and I can see 👀. The world seems more clear now 😉. It does take a few days to adjust to wearing new glasses. I didn’t walk into any walls though……yet 🤣

I went to lunch for the first time at a really great restaurant, Le Cafe De Paris. I was supposed to go awhile back but it never happened. Finally, I made it there and it was delicious. I was like, why have a I never been here? The food was so yummy, omg! As always, my company was even better!

Since I’m talking about food, I might was well continue, lol! My roommate cooked some amazing steak and onions with rice and sauteed shrimp. It was more than delicious

I spent time with my bestie and my Goddaughter. We were together for the 4th of July and we had the best time. Omg, Kadance is just so adorable. I can’t believe she’s already 4 months old. Time flies by!

Spending time with my sister always makes me smile. She’s so much fun to be around and we always have the best time. Life is better with family!
