2020 Vision

Whoever started the phrase, “This sum bullsh*t!” was clearly talking about 2020 because its indeed sum bullsh*t! I’m sorry but 2020 ain’t where it’s at. As of matter of fact I haven’t had 2020 vision since I was in the 6th grade.

We should’ve know this year was going to be tough when Kobe Bryant and his daughter died at the beginning of the year. I mean since then everything just seems to be going further down the drain.

After that the coronavirus hit China and then it came here. We are in month 3 of the pandemic and although it seems to be slowing down, it’s still here. People are losing their jobs, unemployment is at 14.7 percent, families don’t have food, the county is divided, racism is awful (I mean but it always has been), and most importantly people are dying in large numbers each day. Yes, I know people always die everyday but this is different. It’s like they’ll find out they have the virus (sometimes they don’t) and within days they’ve died. Its incredibly sad and overwhelming. 2019, you have my deepest apology. I’m sorry for everything I said about you. I didn’t mean it, ugh!

Little Richard, Betty Wright, Andre Harell, and Jerry Stiller died. I mean come on 2020, can we catch a break? I can usually always find a reason to smile but this is alot 🥺🥺

Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful to be alive, healthy, and back working. It’s not just about me though……..
