Good morning beautiful humans, happy Saturday! We made it. I hope your week was filled with, social distancing, lots of hands sanitizer, reading, revising your resume, learning new skills, and binge watching Ozark! Welcome to Life with Lane, my life through words, pictures, and food! Come on in.. .

This week for me seemed to actually fly by. How was it for you guys? My week also consisted of lots of really good food and for me that equals a really good week, lol!

My roommates and I made a delicious seafood bake on Sunday. When I say it was scrumptious, it really really was. As you can see from picture above, it consisted of snowcrab legs, lobster tails, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. We used two different spices for the crablegs. I love old bay but Ashley likes seasoning more on the spicy side so she used cajun. They were both very good. We melted butter and had cocktail sauce. It was some good old eatin!

I started watching this show called Virgin River because the preview reminded me of this show I loved called Hart of Dixie. I was surprised it was a Netflix show because it’s kind of like something you would see on Hallmark. However, it was surprisingly good and I finished it in just a few days. I mean the episodes are only like 42 minutes and theres only 10 episodes, but still. I am really looking forward to the next season.

Not sure if I mentioned this but I’m a fan of video games. I got the most recent Mortal Kombat game. It was mostly a distraction because working on that script for that contest is very complicated and stressful. So, this was a way for me to get my frustration out, lol! It worked very well. I’m surprisingly really good at fighting games. Probably because I can’t fight in real life 😂

I had some really food from Pio Pio. My first time eating there was about a month ago and I had it again on Monday. It was just as good as the first time. As always I think it was my company that makes the food seem so good!
I’m almost finished with my writing for the contest. Just have to put a few finishing touches on it and proofread it a few more times and I’m good. Wish me luck my friends!
