I’m a work in Progress

I rarely have days when I feel down on myself or upset. I’m always upbeat and positive. I have a great outlook on life. I’m annoyingly happy and optimistic. Apparently I’m not normal, lol!

However, I got upset the other day and I cried pretty hard. Then I got down on myself and had a pity party. This was so unlike me but it happened.

I thought to myself where is my life going? Why do certain things happen to me? Why am I so emotional sometimes? When am I going to get that dream job? I was a mess. I try not to cry in front of my dog because it upsets him but it happened. He was asleep so it was fine.

Finally, I calmed down and after praying I had to remember that I’m a work in progress. Most importantly I’m human and I have to realize that a bad day, a bad week doesn’t equal a bad life.

Believe it or not I used to be quite the drama queen, lol! Maybe I was just being dramatic. Regardless I’m a work in progress. I actually have a pretty good life and for a very brief moment I think I forgot that.

However, I have so much more I want to achieve and my life can be so much better. Little steps at a time go along way!
