My love for Old Hollywood, part 2

Good morning beautiful humans, happy Sunday! Thank you for spending part of a morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great big world. Welcome to Life with Lane; my life the words, pictures, and food!

Last Sunday I wrote a blog about my love for old Hollywood. However, I wanted to write another one today because I left out a few women that I really love and one man.

As you see the magnificent Elizabeth Taylor above; with those eyes you absolutely cannot put her in black and white photographs. She had violet eyes! She’s my sister Danielle’s absolute favorite.

When I think of Elizabeth Taylor, I think of my Mother. Her favorite perfume is White Diamonds. Which is one of my favorite scents ever because it reminds me of my Mother.

I could write about this wonderful woman forever. She was just so eloquent and stunning. I remember the first time I saw Breakfast at Tiffany’s, I was like this woman is amazing. She was so tall and slim. She had this amazing long neck; excellent for necklaces and big earrings. That’s where my mind goes when I see a good long neck, lol!

As good as the movie, Imitation of Life is, you’re mostly captivated by how stunningly beautiful this woman is. The movie is actually one of my favorites and it’s the first time I saw Lana Turner. I was like, who is that beauty? She has such amazing hair. I always appreciate good hair. Maybe because I went to cosmetology school. I’m not sure, but I love a head of food hair. You would never tell by looking at me, I always have on a scarf because I don’t like combing my own, lol!

Paul Newman, I mean look at him. I dont think I need to say much else!
