Friday the 13th………..

Don don don……Its Friday, Friday the 13th! Happy Jason Voorhees day beautiful humans, lol! Dontcha just love it?

Growing up, my siblings and I had a love for horror movies. Especially the Friday the 13th movies. Fun fact, The 7th movie of the series was filmed in my hometown of Bromley, Alabama.

On Friday or Saturday night’s we would go to my Aunt Pie’s house to watch horror movies. Afterwards, we would have to walk back home in the dark. Needless to say, it was always an adventure. The smallest sound would scare me. I am very girly and I’m not much of a fighter but I could run fast. So, if something jumped out, it was very unlikely it would catch me, lol. Jason Voorhees may have been a fast walker but dude would’ve never caught me, lol! 🏃‍♀️

I think watching horror movies made my sisters tough but turned me into a wimp, lol! I actually don’t watch horror movies anymore because everything scares me.

Well, let me rephrase that, I watch slasher films but not horror movies. I don’t find anything entertaining about being possessed or a family staying in a house with demons in it. I’m going to pass, lol! But people are allowed to like what they like and some find that entertaining.

Nonetheless my family and I love the Friday the 13th movies. They enjoy mostly all kind of horror movies but i will watch those and the Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween movies. I think people like being scared for some reason. Maybe it’s the thrill. Us humans are nuts, lol!
