National Girlfriend’s Day, belated

National Girlfriend’s Day was on August 1st, so obviously I’m late, lol. I just found out about it a little over a week ago. I’m just now getting around to writing about it. The past week and a half have been rough and I wanted to write about other things. However, I wanted to make sure that I wrote about my girlfriend’s.

I’m sure I’ve written about them before but since its an actual National Girlfriend’s Day, I wanted to shout them out again. As I’ve gotten older my number of friends has gotten smaller but the ones that are truly my friends have remained the same.

I just want to say to my best friend Cassy, Happy National Girlfriend’s Day. You are the best kind of friend to have. You are loyal, non judgmental, honest, caring, giving, trustworthy, and so many other things. You love me unconditionally. I always talk about how no one loves me more outside of my family than my little old man but you give him a run for his money, lol! We are 10 years strong in this thing called life. I thank God for you.

Rhonda Myhand and Lakisha Sewell, life would not be the same without you two beauties in it. Over the years our friendships have changed but one fact remains the same. Whenever I call, you will always pick up or call me back immediately. Thank you for loving and putting up with me.
