There are so many different places to go and things to see in the world it’s hard to narrow down to just a few things that you wanna put on your bucket list. I never realized how many different places I have wanted to go until recently.
However, the thing I want to do more than anything in the world is travel someplace new every year. I’ve actually been doing that probably for the past 12 years.
The only year I didn’t travel somewhere new was in 2017. Although 2017 was one of my best years I didn’t travel very much actually I didn’t travel at all. Unless you count the fact that I went to Alabama to visit my family as I always do for Thanksgiving.
So I have created a bucket list so you can see into my mind just a little bit of things I want to do before I leave this Earth.
I have always been obsessed with Asian culture. I don’t know if obsessed is the right word but I love Asian culture. I guess the word intrigued would be better. When I was in college we had to write a report; if I could travel anywhere in the world where would it be? My classmates were picking tropical islands places like the Fiji islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Hawaii and other places that I can’t think of at the moment. I picked Japan.
I want to go on an African Safari. I’ve been wanting to do this most of my life. I figured while I’m there I might as well head over to Egypt and see the Pyramids. I am fascinated by them. Like how did they build them back then? I mean how long did it take?
After that I want to visit the Nile River. I don’t like cruises but I would do one more if it was the Nile River. After I finished that cruise I would like to head over to Jerusalem. I want to visit the Holy Land and be where Jesus lived, walked, and died. I want to get my feet washed where he did! I mean what could be better than that??
I want to have dinner inside of the Eiffel Tower and watch fireworks afterwards. I want to ride a gondola in Italy. Explore a cave, which I have done already!
As of this past March, 29, 2019, I have visited the Eiffel Tower and had dinner there!
I want to go on a whale watching tour in Alaska with my family. This is something that I recently decided that I want to do, My sister Tasha told me a few years ago that she wanted to take my niece and nephew. I thought it sounded so neat and I thought to myself that would be so neat. How often do we really get to see whales? I mean we can go to SeaWorld but its not the same thing and I don’t like the fact the whales are there. So, whale watching would be much nicer.
I think I’ve watched to many movies with people taking a shower under waterfalls, lol! So now I really want to do it! I kind of did it when I was in Barbados but the waterfall was nothing like that. It was very small and not a lot of water. I am looking forward to showering under a really big waterfall. Not sure where I want to do it but its going to happen.
As a person who doesn’t like to shop I would love to go on a no-budget shopping spree! I would probably end up just picking out things for my family and friends so I don’t have to try anything on. I think it would be so much fun. I would get so many pair of boots, scarves, high heels, big earrings, designer purses, and necklaces that I would need another house for storage, lol! After that I want to get on a private jet and go to Italy and have dinner!
I love the beach! I love going on vacations to the beach. Sitting on the beach to read. I just love it. So, staying in an overwater bungalow would be a dream come true! I would probably never want to go home, but oh well!
