It’s Saturday and it’s not just any Saturday, it’s National Book Lovers Day! This might be one of my favorite days! Why? I’ve been a book worm basically since birth, lol! I can’t think of many things I love more than reading. I’d like to own every book ever published.
I’ve read alot of books in my life! I actually can’t even pretend to know how many. I do however remember the book I read when I was really young that made me truly love to read. It was The Betrayal by R. L. Stine. Yes, I read lots of books before this one, lol! There was just something about this one that made me want to read everyday! The plot, the characters, the setting, my goodness the ending! It was everything!
After I finished, which was probably that same day! I was R.L Stine’s biggest fan! I would buy three of his books every weekend from money I made from babysitting. I’d be finished with all three by the next weekend! I was hooked. His books turned me into a bookworm!
Then came the wonderfully written Breath of Scandal by Sandra Brown. Still to this day my favorite book of hers. I have every single one of her books!
Then True Betrayals by Nora Roberts! I have all of her books. As you can see, when I like an author, I stick with them and collect all of their books!
Donald Goines’ books are such gems! I highly recommend them! I learned so much from reading his books!
A book can take you anywhere and it’s so fascinating! Reading is truly fundamental. I believe reading has made me more articulate and absolutely more intelligent. It’s the one of the best things in the world!
