How important is closure?

I’ve been thinking alot about closure, so I wanted to write about it. Before I share my thoughts, I wanted to share the prospective of others.

“For me closer isn’t important at all. Especially if I’m not in the wrong. I think truly loving and appreciating who you are helps in not having to crave closure. Like when you know you’re special and someone has wronged you. For me it’s easy to detach from you. Because I do good by anyone I’m in contact with if you wrong me. And good enough. You don’t exist lol in the best way. I love you but I don’t need nothing from you. No closure needed as to why. You’ve lost a good human and that’s your problem.”

I always thought I needed closure in certain situations. Especially when a relationship ended without notice or I didn’t get to say goodbye. I don’t like to leave things unsettled. I guess that’s the right word. It makes me feel uneasy and I don’t like to feel that way. Closure is indeed very important to me.
