“Doing things that matter!” Www.lifewithlanenet.com
My blogs have been more on the serious side lately. Why? I’ve been in mood, lol! Things have been happening around me, to me, and to people I know. So, I’ve been thinking about certain things more. The point of my blog, my website, has always been to do things that matter. To uplift people, to help, to share my journey, in hopes it will inspire people!
Life has ups and downs. At some point it may seem like more downs than ups. Then it’ll be vice versa. That’s why we have to remember nothing is permanent. So when we go through bad situations, remember, it’s only temporary. I’m here to help inspire everyone but also remind everyone that we’re human. We all go through good and bad things. Try to do things that matter along the way……..
The 12 year anniversary of my best friend Heather passing was last month. It made me think, “Does time really heal all wounds?” That’s what I’ve heard my whole life and I believed it when I was younger. Now, as an adult I don’t know if it’s true. I think it’s different for everyone.

Some people can deal with tragedies and heartache better than others. If you grow up and you see tragedy all the time, it might make you immune to it. Therefore, you’re able to handle and get over death quicker than others. I think it just depends on the person. Sometimes some people are so distraught with the death of a loved one, they never get over. The death could’ve happened unexpectedly and therefore they can’t process it. It consumes there entire being. Sadly some of those people end up dying of a broken heart and taking their own life.
That’s why it’s important to watch how you talk to people and be careful with your words. You never know what people are going through. We’re all dealing with tragedies that no one knows about.
Remember, everyone doesn’t handle situations the same. Some take longer than others to get over a tragedy 😔. As I said in the beginning of my blog, it’s been 12 years since Heather passed away 💔. I still cry 😢 occasionally and I think of her often.
Just be kind to one another, it costs nothing!
