What’s your safe space?

Hi friends, I watched a movie and it made me think of safe spaces. So, I wanted to talk about it. How many of us actually have a safe space? In case you’re not familiar with what I mean, I put the definition at the top of the blog. I know having a safe space is really important. The place where you feel safe and can just be yourself. The place where you don’t feel judge and can let loose!

I myself absolutely have a safe space. In fact, I have a few of them. I’ve been blessed with some pretty awesome people in my life. When you come from a close knit family, safe spaces shouldn’t be a problem. Atleast not in my humble opinion. I feel safe with my entire immediate family. My Momma did such a great job of raising us, I feel comfortable telling and being myself around all of them. Its such a beautiful thing!

I’ve had the same best friend for 24 years and she’s like the best thing EVER! Same thing with Cassy, my other best friend.

As I did with my blog from yesterday, I asked a few people before I wrote this blog if they had a safe space. I only used initials and city, state. In case no one wanted their identity shown, lol!
