Do you believe in Soulmates?

I’m a hopeless romantic, anyone who knows me, knows that! Actually maybe they don’t, lol! Why do I say that? Over the past few years it seems as if I’m incapable of having emotions. It’s kind of weird, scary, and wonderful at the same time. I say this because sometimes horrible or bad things happen and I feel nothing 😕. I think to myself what is wrong with me? Then again it feels good to feel nothing, like almost never having emotional outburst. That’s simply because I don’t care enough 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.

No, I’m not Dexter, lol! Sometimes when you’ve had sad or bad things happen to you all at once or repeatedly, maybe nothing phases you. However, when it comes to potentially my true love finding me, I feel something 😌. Which made me think of soulmates. Do I believe in them? Can a person have more than one? Does it have to be a spouse or can it be a friend? What do I think of soulmates? Before I thought of the meaning myself, I wanted to ask some people. Get perspectives from other people. See if most people had the same definition. You know, see if some think like me……..

So, do I believe in soulmates? Yes, I absolutely do! I believe your friends can be a soulmate, especially your best friend. That friend you’ve had for years that you clicked with from the moment you met. The one that’s your ride or die. To me a soulmate doesn’t have to be someone you intend to marry.

I’m not sure if I believe we all only have one though 🤔. Life has too many obstacles and tribulations for us just to have only one. I personally thought I met my soulmate years ago. What if he was, does that mean I’m doomed now since we’re not together? Or does it mean he wasn’t my soulmate?

All I know is that I haven’t given up on love and I’m still a hopeless romantic. I love love 💘. It is truly a beautiful thing and Im excited about what the future holds for me.
