Good morning beautiful humans, happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through the week, hooray! Thank you for spending part of your morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great big world. Welcome to Life with Lane; my life through words, pictures, and food! Come on in…..

I apologize for using the same picture of my Grandmother, it’s the only one I have. If you’ve never read one of my blogs before, you probably don’t know my Grandmother passed away in 1970. She didn’t have her photo taken often. It is a beautiful photo, so actually I’m not sorry!
So, my Grandmother’s birthday is Sunday and this week is dedicated to her. This week is all about Bernice Anderson. Today I’m talking about things that she loved. I had a conversation with my Mother and I know now the things she loved.
When I was growing up, I always wanted to be able to have my Grandmother around. It’s nice to be able to talk to my Mother about her. She didn’t really have her long 😕. It’s really sad but I’m glad she remembers. I hope these blogs make her happy 😊. They say time heals all wounds.
My Grandmother loved to dress nice! I imagine she walked around looking like this. In my head, she walked the streets of Alabama looking like the pictures below 😍.

She loved making bootleg Whiskey 🤣. Apparently she made something called Raisin Jack every Christmas. I find this hilarious because any woman that loves Whiskey is a badass!

My Grandmother loved vegetables 😋

Thank you for reading my blog. Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind! #onelove
