Its the race for the roses today! The first race of the the triple crown races. We can’t mention the Kentucky Derby/Triple Crown races without mentioning the best race horse ever, Secretariat! Just had to throw that in, lol! I started doing research a few days ago and I bet on 2 horses!
I usually don’t like to see animals used for things like this but I think horses were born to run. Not racing per say but I don’t think mind racing. Usually not a long career anyway and its a sport that humans do for a living, lol!
Of course there’s rules to the Kentucky Derby! There’s a certain dress code. Please see below
You can’t have the Kentucky Derby without a mint julep!
Of course you have to have a fancy hat!
