I had someone ask me if I liked white people! Do you know why they asked me that? Because I promote my black girl magic! How crazy is that? How dare I promote my black girl magic? How dare I promote my black Excellence? How dare I promote black girl magic in a world where they make being black seem like the worst thing in the world! I didn’t know if I said much I love being black meant I didn’t like white people 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.

I don’t even know how that has anything to do with other! I said to this person, I talk about Black Girl Magic because I’m I am Black Girl Magic. Why does that bother you? She had no answer. Then she was like why can’t you put everyone has magic? I was like, you put that on YOUR page. Don’t tell me what to post on my page and what do be passionate about. Her comment was pure ignorance and I let her know that.

How dare I have self love? How dare I treat myself like I matter? How dare I pump myself up and make myself think I’m something special when America tells me I’m not?
