Having a peace of mind is very important. You kind of feel like you can’t move forward until you have that peace. You feel unsettled and no one likes to feel unsettled. When my Onyx passed away I kept saying to myself “Did he know how much I loved him? Did he have a good life? Was I a good dog Mom?” I didn’t have that peace of mind until I sat back and thought of all the memories of us together. How often he smiled. Him not in pain anymore. Then I knew! I was at peace and that’s important.
