Sometimes its good to cry!

The other day I cried my eyes out and honestly, I didn’t think the tears would ever stop coming. I think that I had held my tears in for far to long. So, when I did cry, it was literally a river. I was like this is going to be my first Christmas without Onyx, my first Christmas in 16 years without a pet at all. Then I thought about Christmas last year and how we matched. I thought about so many other things I have going on and I just started to cry uncontrollably. I mean it was crazy but much needed.

It’s not good to keep feelings bottled in. Sometimes we don’t like to let people see our emotions because we think it makes us look weak. However, after I finished all my crying, I felt so much better. Crying is just a different way of venting. It’s another way of expressing emotions. Sometimes as an adult it’s the best way to show emotions. Why do I say this? Because crying causing the least amount of pain. Meaning, it’s just emotions in the form of tears. You’re not harming anyone or doing anything crazy. You’re not acting out, causing someone else harm, physically. I think it’s one of the best ways to show or express emotion. It’s good for the soul!
