Good morning beautiful humans, happy Saturday! How was your week? Thank you for spending part of your morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great big world! Welcome to Life with Lane; my life through words, pictures, and food! Come on in………

Hi there friends, welcome to my weekly edition of reasons I smiled! I hope your week was filled with sunshine, love, peace, positive vibes, good food and wine, and blessings! Mine sure was!

Girls Meet Up Orlando Event

International Women’s Day was Monday! I went to an amazing event put on by Girls Meet Up Orlando! It was absolutely amazing. I met some many fantastic women and I had so much fun. I heard so many inspiring stories and I was just so proud to be a woman! I can’t say this enough, women are EVERYTHING! The colors were red, purple, and pink and everyone looked amazing! Im so happy that I went.

Miss America Ericka Dunlap

I got to hear the awe inspiring Miss America Ericka Dunlap speak. I met her years ago right after she won the title in 2003. Atleast I think it was 2003 or maybe it was 2004. She’s so elegant and classy. She’s such a wonderful public speaker. She’s motivating and inspirational. Not to mention that she can sing. It was great to be in her presence!

Life with Lane mask

I sold all of my Life with Lane mask! People have been so supportive and its been great! I know soon I won’t be able to sell them and I’m okay with that. Why? Because that means we’re back to normal and don’t have to wear mask anymore! That day is going to be so amazing. It’s not too late to get one, lol! I’ll have a new shipment next week and it will be my last!

Luke’s Kitchen

I had dinner for the first time at an amazing restaurant called Luke’s Kitchen! Omg, the food was so good! I had never heard of this restaurant before today. How is this possible and im such a foodie? I will definitely be going back. I’m also going to dedicate a blog just to the restaurant, lol! The food was yummy!

The Marilyn Monroe

I had a Marilyn Monroe drink for the first time! It was perfection; like pure alcoholic perfection, lol! I had the drink in my head for years but didn’t know it was a real thing. Nothing in it that I had in the drink in my head but it was delicious. I can’t wait to have another one! Way to go Earls Kitchen! I’ll be back!

Thank you for reading my blog! What made you smile this week? Like, comment, subscribe! Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind! Continue to practice social distancing, wash your hands, and don’t forget about your neighbor! #onelove
