2020 has been so rough, like WTH is going on? Many of us are blessed to still be employed and working. However, because we’re uncertain of how things may be going forward so we’re working extra hours, picking up extra shifts. Some of us have even gotten a second job. We’re doing everything we can to stay afloat. During this time, we forget to take care of our physical, mental, and spiritual health during this time. We literally run ourselves into the ground.
Here in America, we don’t get alot of paid days and vacation time. You have to work for a company for years just to get one week off paid. We really don’t make a livable wage, so its understandable that most of us overwork. However, we have to remember to take of ourselves in the middle of all of this. We have to take that day off every now and then to recharge. We have to start meditating or doing yoga. We have to eat healthy and get out and get some fresh air. We have to take care of ourselves.
We also need to find a way to all work together to make America better for everyone. We have to fight for all people to make livable wages, have access to good health care, children to have better education, women and children to be safe from human and sex trafficking. If we fix those things, our world will be much better. We’ll all be able to take better care of ourselves!
