Reasons I smiled this week, 43rd edition!

Good morning beautiful humans, happy Saturday! How was your week? I hope it was filled with love, happiness, peace, sunshine, good food and wine, and most importantly, blessings. Welcome to my weekly edition of reasons I smiled, come on in……..

I’m back after skipping this last Saturday, there was a lot going on. I’m back now, so it’s all good! This week was such an amazing week. I actually was able to knock 3 things off my 40 before 40 list 💕💕. I’ll update you guys next week. This week has been one of the best I’ve had in awhile but yesterday was the 8 year anniversary of my best friend Heather’s passing. So, yesterday was bittersweet. It was Juneteenth and her anniversary. I cried but I’m okay. I just miss her a lot and I wish she was here to share things with me……..

My sister Danielle and I had another one of our sister days! We always have the best time, she’s so much fun. That picture is actually the end of our day. Save the best for last, ice cream!

We started at Outback Steakhouse and ended with Haagan-Dazs. It was a perfect day, the weather was amazing. The sun was shining, only white clouds and blue skies. So much fun!

We even made time for Tapa Toro! That place is beautiful by the way and I’m almost sure I’m going to celebrate my 40th birthday party there, lol! Our bartender was the best. I can’t wait to go back.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released photos of Tom Brady in his uniform 💕💕 . I have to say he looks great. Even better than he did in his Patriots uniform. It is weird though seeing him in a different uniform but its nice. I really hope the season starts on time but we’ll see. Safety and health first……..

I had a self pool day. My first time wearing my new bikini. I was there alone so no one there to take a picture of me. I’ll post one next time. The weather was really nice, perfect really. I stayed out there for 3.5 hours. I had such a relaxing time.

I just had to post this picture. The pool is so nice where I live. I think it’s my favorite thing there!

I had happy hour at Bosphorus. It’s such a nice place. Felt good to be there again. I hadn’t been in weeks so I was so happy. I think my company is why I’m always happy when I’m there. I mean the food is good to but the company is even better!

Juneteenth was yesterday! There were celebrations all over. I wasn’t feeling my best yesterday so I didn’t get out until the evening but I did get out. I made sure I posted about it. I think it should be a national holiday. It’s very important for my people and it should be recognized. As I stated earlier this week, the show Blackish has an excellent episode about Juneteenth. I highly suggest watching it!
