Good morning beautiful humans, happy Saturday! How was your week? I hope it was filled with productivity, happiness, love, kindness, peace, and sunshine. Welcome to my weekly edition of reasons I smiled, 31st edition. Come on in……

This is my first time doing this in almost 7 weeks, wow. I must say it feels great doing this again. We are going through quite a time right now. It can be hard to find reasons to smile but as they say, ” Waking up on the right side of the dirt, it’s a good day!” Thank you God. He didn’t promise life would always be easy but he promised to be there with us along the way. Always remember that!
One more thing, just because you’re a good person, doesn’t mean bad or unfair things won’t happen to you. We just have to keep moving forward, remain positive and remember better days will come.

I can honestly say I’ve only got my nails done twice in like the past 5 to 10 years. I have naturally long nails so I never really go to the nail salon. However, I was given a gift certificate from an incredibly awesome person for Christmas. I decided what a great time to use it. Since it was St. Patrick’s day this past Tuesday I was like, why not get St. Patrick’s day fingernails. My goodness, they came out so beautiful. Pineapple, yes the nail technicians name was Pineapple! He did a fantastic job! I was more than happy! I’ll definitely be going back.

It’s not that I’m not taking coronavirus serious, I was happy to get out of the house. I went to happy hour at Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine. The atmosphere in that restaurant is so nice and the food is always delicious. Plus, I was helping out my fellow service industry peeps. I had the BEST company, I smiled and laughed the whole time! Life is better with friends β€.

It was St. Patrick’s day Tuesday! I’ve always loved this day. I’m not used to working though. I’m usually the one sitting at the bar drinking the green beer, lol! However, it was great working. Everyone was so friendly and happy. I served lots of green beer. I think people were happy to be out. It was such an amazing day. As you can see from the picture above, I was all smiles. Anyday I can wear a tutu is a good day π.

Although I haven’t gotten a chance to make this yet, I’m pretty happy I found the recipe. Doesn’t it look delicious? Who doesn’t love a good shake?

I turn 40 in November, yes you read that right, I’ll be 40 in November. I’ve decided the theme of my birthday party is going to be Roaring 20’s/Great Gatsby. I’m super excited. Anyone who knows me, knows I like to dress up. That won’t be my costume by the way, lol!

Last but not least, as always this guy made/makes me smile. Everytime I look at him my heart smiles. He’s the cutest dog EVER! He’s literally the definition of love. He’s always by my side. I can’t say this enough, God did such a great thing when he created dogs! I refuse to believe Jesus didn’t have a dog π. There’s no better companion. Unconditional love at its FINEST!

Rest in Peace Kenny Rogers π₯Ίπ₯Ί
