“You see the shine coming from my smile? That’s a true face of happiness!” That’s what happiness looks like friends. I have to tell you that I had some rough days but love and peace won over! I’m still working on some things but I’m good. Thank you God ❀

Morton’s Steakhouse

Anyone who knows me, knows the way to my heart is through my stomach. I had a few rough days so my friend treated me to a very lovely dinner at Morton’s Steakhouse. In my opinion Morton’s is one of the nicest restaurants around. We had been there before but it was awhile ago. We had so much fun last time and the food was so good, I figured why not go back to what we love. We were not disappointed. Our server Fernando was fantastic! My lobster tail was cooked perfect. Such a wonderful night.

My sister Danielle spent most of the week with me. She’s always so much fun. We watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. Believe it or not, neither one of us had ever seen the movie. Not sure why we hadn’t because who doesn’t like Tim Burton?? Corpse Bride is one of my favorite animated movies. I think because I love Helena Bonham Carter’s voice. Anyway, the movie was so good and incredibly funny. Definitely my type of movie, alot like me, slightly odd and weird but hilarious, lol!

I spent the entire Christmas with my favorite elf, my sister Danielle! I made breakfast Christmas morning. Then we made a gingerbread house, and then we headed to my best friend’s Cassy’s house for Christmas dinner and drinks! This was one of the best Christmases I’ve had. Life is better with family and friends.

Being able to spend Christmas with my pregnant bestie was awesome. She’s due in a little over a month. She was so cute in her green dress. She was wearing my elf headband, lol! My sister said I wasn’t allowed to because she had on hers and since I was wearing red I was Santa and she was my elf! Cassy made a scrumptious meal. Roasted chicken, sauteed mushrooms, honey carrots, cheese mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and macaroni and cheese. It was delicious!

Holiday ears

Holiday Minnie ears! All I wanted for Christmas besides being with family and friends was holiday Minnie Mouse ears! Well, because of that guy, I got my ears ❀. The Festival of Holidays is going on until Monday and I wanted to go and collect the cookies wearing my ears. Now I can and I couldn’t be happier.

As always spending time with my old man is the highlight of my week. He always makes me smile. He wanted no part of the pictures but I took them anyway. Have to make memories while I can. My little best friend is getting old. Our 14th Christmas together. That is just so special to me. God really knew what he was doing when he created dogs! They are unconditional love and loyalty wrapped in fur.
