Good morning beautiful humans, happy Thursday! Only one more day of the work week. Well, for those that don’t work on the weekends. Welcome to Life with Lane, come on in!

“Hello Niagara Falls!”
On this throwback Thursday, I am going to talk to you about my trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. I’m not sure if I told you about this trip before so it won’t be a long post but it’ll be a happy one.

Cassy took me as her plus one in 2010 on her family vacation. Fun fact, the year I met Cassy, she took me to her family reunion. Of course I was the only black person there. Cassy’s Mother told me that her Dad (Cassy’s grandfather) likes black girls. Low and behold, when he sees me, his eyes light up and he wants to know immediately who I am! It was something I’ll never forget. He was too sweet! Such a fun day.
Okay, back to Niagara Falls, I have to say it was one of the best vacations I’ve been on. Imagine wanting to visit a place your while life and finally you get to go there! Priceless. So, we went a week before Thanksgiving, so Christmas decorations were up!

It was absolutely beautiful there but it was incredibly cold. The picture above we were behind the falls. We did the behind the Falls tour. It was really neat. I didn’t know it was possible to get that close. It was like a dream.

We were so close to the waterfall. It was such an amazing experience! I would love to go again. I can’t believe it was 9 years ago already. Time really does fly when you get older.

That lovely view is from the restaurant that I have no clue what the name is now. It was the restaurant that rotates so you can see the entire city while you eat. They have the same restaurant in Las Vegas.

We both love butterflies, so we went for the butterfly conservatory. I don’t know why but I didn’t take alot of pictures in there. I think I was just in awe of all the neat beautiful butterflies π¦. It was such an amazing place.

That lovely view was from our room! That’s how Niagara Falls looks at night from above. I couldn’t get over how stunning it was. I had wanted to visit Niagara Falls my whole life. One of the first checks off my bucket list.
