Good morning beautiful humans, happy Sunday! Usually I do my Reasons I smiled this week post on Saturday. However, my birthday was yesterday so I’m doing my post today.

Might seem silly because Sunday is technically the first day of the week, lol! Please forgive me for the switch up. I hope everyone has a lovely week, filled with love, happiness, good food, health, productivity, friends, and family! Welcome to Life with Lane; my life through words, pictures, and food!

I obviously smiled because it was my birthday! The big 39, the last year of my 30’s. That is crazy to me. I graduated from high school 20 years ago. Ain’t that something? My birthday was absolutely wonderful. I did exactly what I wanted.

My sister Danielle’s birthday was Thursday and we had so much fun! We went to this wonderful restaurant, The Whole Enchilada, it’s a fresh Mexican place located in Winter Garden. It has this fabulous rooftop bar. The scene is just so lovely. I could probably go there every night. Its so great how we have so much fun with just the two of us! Life is better with sisters.

I got my nails done for the first time in years. Since it was my birthday I thought I would treat myself to a manicure. I called this barbie nails and yes those are my real nails!

I went to Disney World on my actual birthday. We went to Hollywood Studios and then animal Kingdom, for the Avatar ride, the Safari, and Mount Everest. My friend Lenny hooked me up with fast passes. The regular line for Flight of Passage was 4 hours and 15 minutes. Yes, you heard me right, 4 hours and 15 minutes. So, yes thank you Lenny. No way we would’ve waited that long.

Who doesn’t love Woody and Buzz? Last time we went to Toystory Land we didnt have fast passes and we weren’t able to do the Slinky Dog ride. Well, thanks to my friend Eric we were able to do the ride. It was so awesome. Just so much fun, I love roller coasters.

My best friend Cassy made me early birthday dinner on Wednesday. She made this delicious cajun shrimp pasta with broccoli. I found it on Pinterest and sent it to her. She’s such a great cook!

All the memes from this cat! I kid you not I laugh for like 5 minutes everytime I see them. I don’t know who started it but please keep them coming, lol! It’s just the little things.

Last but not least, that guy! My friend Eric. Sometimes people don’t always do what they say. What I wanted for my 39th birthday was simply just to go to Disney. He made it happen! My sister and I are so grateful for you!
