Good morning beautiful humans, happy Friday! Thank you for spending part of your morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great big world. Welcome to Life with Lane; my life through words, pictures, and food!
Since its Friday, I decided to write something on the happy side! My post this week have been somber, sad, and kind of heartbreaking. Also, a little angry but it’s a lot of unhappiness, sadness, and chaos going on right now.
So, today I am going to talk to you about my love for music. Since I was a child, I have been a music lover. I am a fan of almost every genre of music, except for heavy metal and folk. I would throw country music in there, but I love Shania, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, and Tim McGraw.
Last year I had the pleasure of attending the Pink concert with my sister. I’ve been to a lot of concerts in my life and I have to say this was by far one of the best. Pink has been one of my favorite singers since I was in high school. At least I think her 1st album came out when I was in high school; which was over 20 years ago. We have incredible seeds and she put on such an amazing show. Her voice sounded even better live than it does on the radio.
A few months after we attended the Pink concert my sister and I attended the Shanka Twain concert. I have been a fan of Ahania Twain since the 1990s. As I said I’m not a huge fan of country but anyone who’s ever heard Shania Twain sing, can’t help being a fan of her music. Her, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, and Martina McBride, oh my God they are all fantastic. I wasn’t even sure Shania would ever go on tour again because she hurt her vocal cords a few years ago. However being at that concert and hearing her sing, you would have never known she had a vocal cord injury. Her voice was perfection and she was absolutely stunning!
I also attended the Bon Jovi, this house is not for sale concert. However, compared to the other 2 it wasn’t very good. Best part was the Jon sounded really good and he looked amazing! Of all the songs they played I only knew about 3. It was kind of disappointing but I love love music so there’s that!
Music is just good for the soul. It can being back memories and help you through difficult times. Bring a smile to your face with one line or one note. It makes you want to dance and jump up for joy! We all need a song in our heart.
What’s your favorite song or group/band? Thanks for reading my blog. Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind.
