Have You Ever Thought……….

Have you ever looked at someone and thought, “How have you not been punched in the face? Or  “How are you still alive?” I know that’s a mean thing to say and think but hey, we’re human! In the world we live in, it can be a struggle sometimes to remain positive. You look around and you see mean, nasty, offensive people striving. When you look the other way you see hard-working, god-fearing, lovely, sweet people, that are trying to do the right thing struggle, dying from cancer, and treated unfairly.

I always thought if you did things the right way, tried to live in a way that made God smile you would be rewarded. Sometimes keeping that positive mind-frame can be hard, especially the way the world is going right now.

I did everything right in my past relationships and still they failed. I went to college and got a great education. I still I don’t have that great career I thought I would have at this age. I exercise and take care of my body and I’m not sure I can have kids.

However, instead of focusing on the things that are not so great in my life, I FOCUS ON THE GREAT! I’m a healthy thirty-eight-year-old educated stone-cold FOX!!! I have plenty of time left to accomplish all the things I haven’t done yet. Maybe I thought I had the man of my dreams, but I was wrong. Guess what? There’s other fish in the sea. My career isn’t where I want it to be, but obviously I’m just a late bloomer.

I won’t give up and that is the most important thing. I have to keep moving forward!!! Remember that my life is my own and I can’t measure it by others… Thank you for reading my blog! Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind.
